Review: The Amazing Brain Train

download The Amazing Brain Train!Following the recent trend of “Brain” games that appeared on many devices like Wii, Nintendo DS, and so on, Grubby Games decided to put on the market an interesting brain training game, called The Amazing Brain Train :)

The game itself offers 15 different brain games, including Search, Memory, Numbers and more, which are very well done. The main character is the famous Prof. Fizzwizzle (it was the star of other Grubby Games in the past).

The game offers several playing Modes, like Quest Mode, Test Mode and Practice Mode, each one offering a different degree of difficulty and some variations in gameplay.

Overall I recommend this game if you’re into Brain Train games, for the others I suggest to try the game first to see if you like this sort of games.

Review: Dream Chronicles 2

h1 Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

download Dream Chronicles 2!The sequel to the popular Dream Chronicles, this seek and find game actually deliver something more than simply seek and find, but like the popular game Azada, it contains over 80 puzzles and indeed could be described better as a beautiful blend of puzzles, adventure, object finding and Myst-like environments.

Indeed, the environment (background art mostly) is very similar to the popular game Myst of some decades ago. The game action also is improved over the previous title, since now you have to move between different scenes to solve big puzzles, not like the first episode where each puzzle was a single scene.

So this second chapter has more depth, and lasts longer than the first one. If you liked the first chapter or other similar games like Azada, you’ll surely love this game.
