Review: DQ Tycoon
Saturday, January 31st, 2009
DQ Tycoon is a very original time management/tycoon game. In the game you have to help Emily to run a dairy store. Will she climb the ranks to become the most prominent business manager in town ? It’s up to you to manage his shop, and eventually hire more staff to expand his business and open new stores around the globe.
Similarly to Chocolatier reviewed last week, this game has several minigames, all in one, that contribute to improve the overall game longevity. Indeed, for example in between levels you can shop for upgrades like faster machines, play a cake-decorating mini-game to restock the fridge. Another difference with previous time management games, is that even if a new shop gets added every week in the game, you still have to run the older ones!
Overall isn’t a bad game, even if it doesn’t particularly excel in the time management panorama.
